Hi!! Thanks so much for subscribing:-) The price depends on your area and you should notice their sanitization steps before getting in the chair. Did you go to a regular nail salon or spa? The “chop” shops in my area offer pedicures starting at $17 but the nicer ones (in decorative terms) charge $30 for them. Spas here start at $60 for pedis. Let me know if this helps or not:-)

This information was very helpful, thank you! I love your channel and videos. :) One question for you, do you think it is acceptable or okay to get your nails done at a shop in a mall?

PS – When you talk about the shops with the chairs with the jets… I’ve never seen a nail place WITHOUT that kind of seating… I have yet to catch any fungus, but now you have me worried. Also, I am gonna get my nails done not this weekend, but next weekend, over Spring break. I’ll definitely be trying out gel nails now since I’ve gotten acrylics before. :)

Thx for watching! Yes I think its ok. Some malls have some really nice salon/nail shops. There’s a mall in my hometown that actually has a spa. It just depends on the individual business. Some of them are very clean and others you can tell that sanitation isn’t a priority:-)

Let me know how your gel nails turned out! Sometimes a place can have the big chairs but the actual foot bath’s bowl has almost like a whirlpool at the bottom (can almost look like a drain) and it vibrates to massage the feet. Some of these chairs you wouldn’t notice the jets not being there unless you were seated. I usually just call and ask what type of chairs they use before going. Hope this helps:-)

hi, i chew my nails and i was wondering is the best thing to do (instead of not chewing my nails),is should i get acrylic or gel nails done? I got this from my friend who also had her nails done by gel and I wanted to know if I should go get them done and by which type?
